You know what August means…
Ahhh August. The official unofficial start of fall. The time of the year that the kids go back to school… and well, some adults go back to school, too.
Me. I’m “some adults”. I start my one remaining class today.
This semester is exciting though because it happens to be my last semester before I officially have my associates in photography.
At the start of 2020, I quit my corporate job and headed back to the books as kind of a hard reset for my life. It was the best decision, I believe, I’ve ever made. Not only have I grown SO much personally, but I have also grown my business into something I never thought possible!
Now, I don’t want to paint this time of my life as all butterflies and rainbows. The growing pains have been real, I don’t have that cushy 9-5 paycheck anymore, and there is a lot of uncertainty day to day… A lot. And I still have so much more to accomplish with my business, but the fact that I took nothing and have turned it into something is pretty awesome. Especially since I never thought I could!
So as I go back to classes today to begin the end of this academic journey, I just wanted to say to you that, no matter what it is in life that you want to do, you can actually make it happen.
It’s hard, and it’s gonna suck at times. But it’s also going to be exciting, rewarding, and so fulfilling.
Now, in light of all this school talk and since this IS a photography blog, I thought I’d post some images from a senior session I did for my second family last spring.
I’ve known Rowyn since she was a wee little baby, and now she’s just gone off to college!
Senior sessions are so fun. I like to incorporate locations and hobbies that are important to you! Graduating from anything is a huge feat and you deserve photos to remember it by!
If you want to create some special memories, do not hesitate to reach out to me and book your senior session!
